Trademarks are registered to promote business and gain trust of customers. Trademark registration is done for a duration of 10 years post which renewal is to be done. There is no restriction on number of renewals but every renewal is for a duration of 10 years. Trademark registration provides exclusive rights to the proprietor for use of the trademark. Getting your trademark registered is not mandatory but recommended.

A company is an artificial person with separate legal status which is formed to run a business. If you want to form a company then its registration is compulsory. If all the documents are in place within 15-20 business days you’ll have Certificate of Incorporation (COI) in your hand.
A company is registered forever and does not need renewal as a trademark. A company can have any number of registered trademarks but only one trademark can be registered in the name or logo of the company. However, there is one similarity, that is, trademarks and name of companies cannot be identical or similar to an existing one.
